We’re hiring an entry-level Research Consultant to learn the business from the ground up. You’ll get hands-on experience across the full spectrum of our work including research design, implementation, project delivery, and working directly with clients so you see both how it all comes together and why it matters.
You’ll thrive here if you’re the kind of person who can’t help but ask why. Why do people behave the way they do? Why do some businesses get it while others miss completely? Why do some ideas take hold and others disappear?

We’re a research-driven consulting firm with offices in Calgary (where this role is based), Edmonton, Vancouver, and Toronto, partnering with clients across Canada and the U.S.

We deliver world-class research, but data isn’t the point. The real value lies in the questions behind it. That’s why we go beyond reporting findings to deliver clear, practical advice that actually moves businesses forward.

In short, we don’t operate like a typical research firm. Our clients trust us to tell them what truly matters, and what to do next.

We’re growing and looking for smart, curious, and thoughtful people who want to contribute in a fast-paced, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable environment.

What you’ll bring:
-
A natural curiosity and a strong desire to learn from teammates, clients, and the work itself
-
Experience supporting (or contributing to) survey-based research; exposure to both qualitative and quantitative methods
-
A keen sense of what is going on in your community, your city and the world around you
-
A working understanding of digital analytics and how it connects to real business problems
-
Exceptional communication skills: you can take complex ideas and make them clear, compelling, and useful
-
The ability to think creatively, on the spot, and approach business challenges from multiple angles
-
A balance of big-picture thinking and attention to detail: you don’t miss things, but you also don’t get lost in them
-
Comfort working across different research approaches: traditional market research, behavioural sciences/behavioural economics, qualitative methods, advanced analytics, and web and app (GA4) analytics
-
A self-starter mindset, with a sense of humour and a willingness to jump in wherever needed (you’re the first to put your hand up)
-
Flexibility in how you work whether that’s in-office collaboration or knocking something out from home at an odd hour
-
Solid core skills in PowerPoint and Excel and responsible use of various AI platforms; experience with tools like R, Python, or Power BI is a bonus

Minimum qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, liberal arts, or business
-
1–2 years of experience in research, marketing, or a related field
